Lantreath

Lantreath is on the main road into St Mawes village. It's a three bedroom house that looks directly out over the bay.

The view is really the main thing. You can see right across from the Percuil River to Pendennis Castle in Falmouth. The water is right there. Summers Beach is just opposite, down some steps.

It sleeps six, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. Everything works. There's parking right outside for one car.

The terrace gets the evening sun, which is nice. Most of the village is in shadow by then. You can sit out there with a drink.

St Mawes itself is a five minute walk down the hill. There are a few shops, some very good restaurants, and a pub. The castle is there too. You can get the ferry over to Falmouth, which takes about twenty minutes. It runs quite often.

For walking, you're right on the South West Coast Path. You can walk to places like St Just in Roseland church, which is very pretty. The Roseland peninsula is good for exploring. Portscatho is a short drive.

The facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a barbecue. No pets, sorry.
