Farrier Cottage is at Penmorvah Manor, just outside Budock Water. It's a one bedroom place, just for two. It used to be the farrier's workshop. You're in the main garden, so there are other cottages around, but it's quiet.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, a good base. It's open-plan downstairs. The bed's upstairs. The shower is good.
The garden is shared. There's a lawn and a play area if you have kids with you. You can sit out on the patio. The views from the grounds are nice, over fields towards the sea.
Budock Water village is about a mile away. There's a shop, a post office, and a thatched pub that does food. For the beach or a bigger shop, you need to go to Falmouth.
Falmouth is ten minutes by car. That's where the marina is, and the National Maritime Museum. You can get the ferry from there over to St Mawes or Flushing. The Helford River is close by, maybe a five minute drive to Helford Passage. Good for a walk and a drink by the water.
For days out, the sub-tropical gardens are popular. Trebah and Glendurgan are both about a fifteen minute drive. You can walk parts of the South West Coast Path from nearby. Maenporth beach is about four miles.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
