The Lodge

The Lodge is on Retanna Holiday Park, just outside Carnkie. It's a detached house on three floors, so it's quite big. It sleeps ten, in five bedrooms, with three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a good standard.

You enter on the middle floor. That's where the kitchen and dining room are, and the door out to the patio and hot tub. The living room is on the floor below that, and there are two bedrooms and a bathroom on that level as well. The main three bedrooms, including the master with its ensuite, are on the top floor.

The hot tub is on the private patio. There's parking for a couple of cars on the driveway.

As for the area, you're nicely placed between Helston and Falmouth. Helston is about ten minutes by car. It's a proper town with shops, a museum, and Flambards theme park. Porthleven, which has the harbour and some good places to eat, is about fifteen minutes away. Praa Sands beach is a short drive from Porthleven.

Falmouth is in the other direction, maybe twenty minutes. It's a busy port town with several beaches, the National Maritime Museum, and lots of restaurants. The South West Coast Path runs through there.

You can get to The Lizard peninsula, the Minack Theatre, St Ives, and the Eden Project all within about forty-five minutes to an hour.

Facilities here include the hot tub, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. The garden is yours. Sorry, no pets.
