The Stables
The Stables is a cottage on the Penmorvah Manor estate. It's one of a few they've converted from old stables and barns. You get a patio and garden area to yourself, and the main gardens and grounds are shared. The views from there are nice, over fields towards the coast.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, both with their own ensuite bathroom. That's handy. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The garden is secure, and there's a play area for kids. It's a peaceful spot. Budock Water village is about a mile away. There's a thatched pub in the village, a shop, and a post office. They do the basics.
For a proper beach day, you'll need to drive. The nearest is about four miles. Falmouth is close, maybe ten minutes in the car. It's got everything: the Maritime Museum, restaurants, and you can get ferries from there over to St Mawes or Flushing.
The Helford River is about a fifteen minute drive. It's very pretty there, good for a gentle walk or a pub lunch by the water. The Trebah and Glendurgan gardens are in that area too if you like that sort of thing.
The cottage has wifi, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. Parking is right there. You can bring up to two dogs.
