The Cottage
The Cottage is in Lesbury. It's a one-bedroom cottage for two people. It's detached, so it's just you and the garden. The garden gets the morning and evening sun.
It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good. It means it's well-finished and comfortable. There's a wood-burning stove in the living room, which makes it cosy. The kitchen is separate and has a dishwasher. Everything's on one level, which is handy.
You've got your own parking. There's a washing machine and the bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
Alnmouth beach is about a mile away. It's a nice walk or a very short drive. It's sandy and the estuary there is good for a stroll.
Alnwick is two miles away. That's where the castle and the famous bookshop are. It's a proper market town with butchers and bakers and places to eat.
If you want to go further, the coast north of here is good. Seahouses is about half an hour's drive. You can get boat trips from there out to the Farne Islands to see the seals and puffins. Bamburgh Castle is on the way, right on the coast.
