Guilders Burn.

Guilders Burn is in Amble, Northumberland. It's a terraced house on a quiet street, about a five minute walk from the town centre and the harbour.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. The third bedroom has a sofa bed and a desk, so it works as a small office if you need it. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. You can bring up to three dogs.

The living room is a good size and has a gas stove that looks like a wood burner. It heats the room up quickly. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Out the back is a small, enclosed yard. It's fine for a dog or to have a coffee, but it's not a garden for running around in.

Amble is a friendly, no-fuss sort of town. The harbour is a ten minute walk. There's a beach called the Little Shore, and a grassy area called The Braid which is good for dog walks. The town has pubs, cafes, and shops. There's a spot on the harbour with little pod shops selling local stuff.

Warkworth village is about a mile south. It has a very good castle, Warkworth Castle. Druridge Bay is a few miles down the coast for a long beach walk. Alnwick with its castle and gardens is about a fifteen minute drive. The train station at Alnmouth is seven miles away if you're coming by train or want to explore further.

For a proper day out, you're within half an hour of some big sights. Alnwick Castle is the main one. Up the coast, you've got Bamburgh Castle and Holy Island, but you need to check the tide times for that. The Northumberland Coast site is useful for planning.
