Puffin Cottage

Puffin Cottage is a one-bedroom bungalow in Amble. It sleeps two. It's a modern build, so it's all on one level. You don't have to worry about stairs.

The layout is open plan. The kitchen is at one end of the living space. It's got a dishwasher and a washing machine. The bedroom is separate, off the main room. There's one bathroom with both a bath and a separate shower.

It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything feels quite new. Bedding and towels are included.

The cottage is detached. You have your own private patio with a BBQ. Parking is on site, right next to the property. There's also an electric vehicle charger.

There's an indoor swimming pool on the same site, just outside your door. Guests can use it between 10am and 6pm from April to September. There's a sauna too.

Location wise, you're less than a mile from Amble town centre. It's an easy walk to the harbour. There's a market there on Sundays. The local pubs and fish and chip shops are good. There's a beach with huts you can hire.

A nice walk is along the river to Warkworth. It's about two miles. The castle there is worth seeing. For bigger beaches and more castles, you drive up the coast. Craster, Seahouses and Bamburgh are all within about half an hour. Alnwick Castle is about a 15 minute drive inland.

The whole Northumberland coast is part of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can find quiet spots at Druridge Bay, which is a short drive south. For a different kind of day out, Hadrian's Wall is under an hour's drive away.

No pets, sorry.
