Seaside Escape
This is Seaside Escape. It's a townhouse in Amble, just up from the harbour. It's not old, it was built a few years ago, so everything works and it's straightforward.
It sleeps six across three bedrooms. There's one bathroom, which has a bath with a shower over it. You can bring two dogs. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is about right. It's clean, modern, and comfortable.
Downstairs, there's a small loo off the entrance. The living room has a corner sofa and a TV. The kitchen is open plan with a table for six. Doors from there lead out to the back garden. It's enclosed with astro turf, so it's low maintenance and safe for dogs or kids.
Upstairs, there's a double room and a twin room on the first floor, both with TVs. The bathroom is on that floor too. Up another flight of stairs is the main bedroom with a big double bed. The stairs are normal, not a cottage spiral, so they're easier.
Amble is a proper fishing town. You can walk to the harbour in a few minutes. The town is known for its seafood. There are a few pubs and places to eat right there. The beach is about a mile away, a steady walk or a very short drive.
For days out, you're in a good spot. Warkworth Castle is just down the road. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about a twenty-minute drive. The Northumberland Coast is all around you for walking. If you want to go inland, Northumberland National Park is about half an hour away.
What's here: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's parking for one car on the drive. The garden is fully enclosed.
