Puffling Cottage is in Amble, Northumberland. It sleeps six, though there are only two bedrooms. One has a kingsize bed that can be split into two singles. The other has a bunk bed. There's one bathroom with a bath and a separate shower.
It's a 4 Star property. It's newly done up and everything is clean and works. The stairs are a fairly normal set of stairs. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs or kids. It's split over two levels with a couple of steps between them.
You're a few minutes' walk from Amble's main street. There are shops, pubs, and places to eat there. The harbour is nearby with more little shops in the pods. The beach is about a mile away. It's a proper sandy beach.
Coquet Island is just off the coast. It's an RSPB reserve, so you see puffins and other seabirds. You can take boat trips around it from Amble harbour. You can't land on the island itself.
Within half an hour's drive you've got Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Garden, Warkworth Castle, and Druridge Bay. The Northumberland Coast Path runs right past. For a longer day out, Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, and Newcastle are all within about an hour.
Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking on the street outside the cottage.
