Neptune Cottage
Neptune Cottage is in Amble. That's a small town on the Northumberland coast. It's a terraced house, end of a row.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a wood burner in the living room. We leave a starter pack of logs for you. The garden is out the back, enclosed.
The beach is a five minute walk. Amble harbour is maybe ten minutes. There's a pub and places to eat about 200 yards from the door.
For a day out, Warkworth Castle is just down the road. Alnwick Castle and Gardens are about a 20 minute drive. The beach at Druridge Bay is good for a long walk, and you can get to some of the wider Northumberland Coast footpaths from there quite easily.
Further afield, you're within half an hour of places like Alnmouth, Craster, and the start of the Northumberland National Park. Holy Island is about 45 minutes, but you have to check the tide times.
Bedding and towels are included. There's wifi and parking for one car on the street outside. No pets, sorry.
