Percy House
Percy House is on a Georgian terrace in Alnwick. It’s my place, but I want you to use it. It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There’s one bathroom with a walk-in shower and a roll-top bath.
The rating is 4 Star. That means it’s a bit smarter. It’s clean, well-equipped, and there’s a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen is modern and has a dishwasher.
There’s a bench outside on the terrace. It’s a shared space but it’s quiet. You can sit out there.
The town centre is a short walk. There are shops, pubs that serve food, and cafes. Alnwick Castle is very close. You can walk there in a few minutes. The gardens are worth visiting. The Alnwick Garden is nearby too.
You’re in Northumberland here. The coast is about four miles away. Alnmouth beach is a ten minute drive. For walks, the Northumberland Coast is good. There’s fishing locally if that’s your thing.
For a day out, Bamburgh Castle is about half an hour by car. The Northumberland National Park starts not far from here.
Facilities: There’s a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets.
