Town Square Apartment
Town Square Apartment is in the middle of Alnwick, right on the market square. It's a first floor flat, so you go up a flight of stairs to get in. It sleeps two, one bedroom with its own bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well kept.
The living room and kitchen are all one room. The kitchen's a good size if you want to cook. The bedroom is downstairs from there, on a lower level. The stairs between the living room and bedroom are a bit steep, so just watch your step.
You can bring one dog. There's an enclosed patio out the back, it's not huge but it's private and handy for a dog. You get a parking permit for one car in the square.
Being right on the square means you're in the middle of everything. The shop noise starts early on market days, which is Tuesday and Saturday. If you want a quiet lie in, it might not be for you. But you can walk to everything in two minutes. The pubs, Alnwick Castle, Barter Books, all of it.
For a day out, the coast is about fifteen minutes' drive. Alnmouth Beach is good, or you can go up to Bamburgh. Northumberland National Park is maybe half an hour inland.
Facilities are all there: washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
