This is Alderfen Barn. It's at Threehammer Common, in Norfolk. It's a detached stone barn, from the 1700s. We're on site in the main farmhouse. It sleeps 14, which is why there are seven bedrooms and, handily, seven bathrooms. Everyone can have their own.
It's got a 5 Star Gold rating. That means it's well-finished. There's underfloor heating, woodburning stoves, and the main living space is open-plan with high beams. Each bedroom has its own walk-in shower. The garden is enclosed and there's a private hot tub.
You can book it with the other two barns here if you've got a bigger group, up to 32 people.
The place is right on the edge of the Broads. Alderfen Broad is a short walk away, it's a proper quiet bit for birdwatching. You can hire a day boat from us directly if you want to get out on the water. The village of Horning is close, it's got pubs and places to eat along the river.
For a day out, the coast is about a 20 minute drive. Great Yarmouth or the beaches towards Cromer. Norwich is roughly half an hour if you want city things - the cathedral, the castle, shopping. For kids, BeWILDerwood is very close, maybe 10 minutes by car.
We allow up to two dogs. There's on-site parking, bike storage, a washing machine, and cot and highchair if needed. All bedding and towels are included.
