Crested Grebe

This is the Crested Grebe. It's one of a few houses called The Riverviews, right by the river in Wroxham. They're modern houses, not old cottages.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, and they've all got their own bathroom, which is useful. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. Everything should work and be in good order.

The main living area is upstairs to get the view. There's a balcony up there. It looks out over the river, which is busy with boats in summer. It gets the evening sun. Downstairs there's a small, enclosed courtyard with a barbecue.

The big thing here is the river. The owner runs a boatyard and you get the use of a motor launch included, except in the main school holidays. You collect it from the yard nearby and can moor it right by the house. It's a proper way to see the Broads. If you fish, you can do that from their bit of river bank if you've got a licence.

Wroxham is right there. You can walk to shops, cafes, and a couple of pubs in a few minutes. It's the main place on the Broads, so it has everything you need. For walking or cycling, there are lots of paths starting from the village.

The north Norfolk coast is about half an hour's drive. Good for beaches. Cromer and Sheringham are up that way. Norwich is in the other direction, maybe 20 minutes by car. It's a proper city with shops and the cathedral.

In the house, you've got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Towels and bedding are included. You can bring up to two dogs. They provide life jackets for people and for pets, but you pay a deposit for the dog ones.
