Kestrel Cottage is on the river in Horning. It's part of a row of houses in a marina, right where it joins the River Bure. The living area is upstairs to get the view.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable.
The deck downstairs is right on the river. There's no fence between you and the water, so you need to watch children. You can fish from there. They say the pike fishing is good in the winter when it's quiet.
Upstairs, there's a balcony off the living area with some chairs.
You can hire a boat and moor it at the house. That's really the best way to see things. Horning village is about a fifteen minute walk along the river. There's a shop, a few places to eat, and some pubs there.
For days out, BeWILDerwood is the big tree-top adventure place for kids. Wroxham is a few miles away and has more shops. The coast at North Norfolk is about a thirty minute drive. Norwich is easy to get to for a city day.
What's here: parking, wifi, TV, a dishwasher, bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs.
