Gunn's Loft
Gunn's Loft is our place up in Cat's Common in Norfolk. It's a loft conversion above our garage. It's for two people, a couple really.
It's got a five-star rating. That means it's been done to a high standard, everything's new and clean. It's an open-plan space, so the living, kitchen, and sleeping area are all in one room. The bathroom is separate. You get your own patio and garden area. You're right next to our house, but it's private.
Inside, it's all there: a dishwasher, WiFi, parking, and bedding is included. There's bike storage if you bring cycles.
Location wise, you're in the middle of things. Wroxham, which is the main place for the Broads, is about an eight minute drive. They've got boat trips, shops, and a little steam railway there. The coast at Sea Palling is about twenty minutes by car. Good sandy beach.
If you like walking or history, there are a few National Trust places within half an hour. Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are the big ones. Horsey Windpump is closer, out towards the coast. You can see the seals at Horsey Gap in the winter.
North Walsham is the nearest proper town for supermarkets, about seven miles. Norwich is about twenty-five minutes in the car if you need a city day.
