Gunn's Loft
Gunn's Loft is in Cat's Common. It's a one-bedroom loft conversion above a detached garage, next to our house. It's very private though. You have your own entrance and a little patio area that looks out over the fields towards the river.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one shower room. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's finished to a high standard and everything is new. It's open plan, so the living, kitchen and dining area is all one space. The bed is upstairs in a mezzanine. The stairs up to it are a ship's ladder, so they're steep. You need to be steady on your feet.
It's quiet here. The nearest shop and a pub are in Wroxham, about an eight minute drive. Wroxham is useful. It's got supermarkets, places to eat, and it's where you can get boats out on the Broads. The Bure Valley steam railway starts there too.
For the coast, Sea Palling has a good sandy beach. It's about twenty minutes by car. If you want to see seals, go to Horsey Gap. You can often see them on the beach from the dunes. It's about half an hour away.
Norwich is about twenty-five minutes drive. It's got the cathedral, the castle museum, and all the shops you'd need.
The place has WiFi, parking, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage if you bring your own. Sorry, no pets.
