Estate Cottage is where the old head gardener used to live. It's on the edge of Worstead Park, which is private land. The main house is 16th century, but the cottage is a bit newer. It's detached.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's comfortable. There's a wood burner in the living room.
The key thing is the park. It's 100 acres, with a big lake, woods, and meadows. You can walk straight out from the cottage. We get red deer, herons, sometimes kingfishers. There's an electric hot tub for six in the garden, and a cart shed with table tennis.
The local market town is North Walsham, about six miles away. It has shops, supermarkets, a leisure centre. Wroxham, for the Broads, is about the same distance. You can hire boats there.
The coast is roughly 15 to 20 minutes by car. Cromer is about 15 miles. Happisburgh, Mundesley, and Bacton have sandy beaches.
Within half an hour you've got National Trust places like Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall. Sheringham Park is nice for a walk.
Facilities wise: it's got the things you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a stairgate and a cot if you need them.
