It's called Leisure Hour. It's in Hoveton, right by the River Bure. It's a thatched cottage, detached.
It's a four star place. Sleeps six in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. There's parking. It's all been renovated inside, so it's in good order. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they do turn a bit.
The main thing is the garden. It's nearly an acre. It's got lawns and a bit of woodland. There's a veranda at the front that looks straight out onto the river. You can sit there and have a coffee, watch the boats go by. You do see a lot of wildlife. You can fish from the property in season. If you wanted to hire a day boat locally, you can moor it in the private dyke here.
The village is about a mile away for shops and a pub. The pub does food.
For the coast, Sea Palling is about twenty-five minutes by car. It's a sandy beach with dunes. Great Yarmouth is about thirty minutes if you want the pier and amusements.
Norwich isn't far, maybe twenty minutes. Good for shopping. The castle and cathedral are worth a look. For a day out, Blickling Hall is a National Trust property about forty minutes north.
Inside, there's a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
