Leisure Hour
Leisure Hour in Hoveton. It's a thatched cottage, a bit unusual looking, detached. The main thing is it's right on the River Bure. You get the garden to yourselves, which is a good size.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. The rating is four star. It's comfortable. It's got a washing machine and a TV.
You can sit out on the veranda, looking at the river. There's a private ditch off the river - they call it a dyke round here - where you can moor a small boat if you hire one. You can fish from the garden bank.
It's about a ten minute walk into Wroxham. That's where the shops are, and a few pubs and places to eat. It's useful.
The coast at Sea Palling is about half an hour's drive. It's a sandy beach. Great Yarmouth is a bit further, maybe forty minutes. That's more for the amusements and that sort of thing.
Boat hire is easy to find locally if you want to get out on the Broads properly.
Norwich is roughly twenty five minutes by car. The cathedral is worth a look, and the castle. Blickling Hall is a nice National Trust property about twenty minutes away.
Facilities: Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for several cars on the gravel drive. No pets sorry.
