Cobweb Cottage is in Ludham, which is a village right by the water in the Norfolk Broads. It's a detached house, so no shared walls. It sleeps eight, in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is an en-suite off the main bedroom.
It's got a 5 Star rating, which is a high standard. It's spacious and well finished. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs or kids. There's a hot tub out there. The view from the back is over fields.
Inside, there's a living room with a wood burner, and it opens into a conservatory. The kitchen has a table for breakfasts. There's a separate dining room as well, which is good for bigger meals. The stairs are standard, nothing tricky.
You can have up to three dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and parking for a couple of cars on the drive.
Ludham village is about a six-minute walk. There's a shop, a post office, a butchers, and a pub that does food. Womack Staithe is close by too, where you can watch the boats or hire a pedalo. The fishing is supposed to be very good around here, but you'll need a licence.
For days out, Wroxham is about a 15-minute drive. That's where you can hire boats for the day. There's a big supermarket there too. The beaches at Winterton-on-Sea and Sea Palling are about a 20-minute drive away. They're sandy with dunes.
If you've got children, BeWILDerwood is nearby, and Roar Dinosaur Park is about 45 minutes by car. Norwich city centre is roughly half an hour. It's good for shopping and the cathedral.
There are some National Trust places within easy reach for walking. Felbrigg Hall is lovely, and Blickling Hall has great parkland. The Broads Authority website has maps and information about the waterways.
