Elm Loft
This is Elm Loft, near Upton Dyke in Norfolk. It's a loft conversion above a garage. We live next door, about a hundred yards away, so we're here if you need anything.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. The bathroom's downstairs, and the living space and bedroom are up the stairs. The stairs are proper loft stairs, so they're a bit steep. The living area is open plan with Velux windows. The bedroom has blackout blinds and plenty of storage. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean.
You've got your own little enclosed patio area with a table and chairs out the back. Parking is right there.
The village pub is a couple of minutes' walk away. There's a community shop about the same distance. For a bigger shop, Acle is two miles away. It's got a Tesco and a few other bits. The Buttercross pub there is right on the river.
Upton Dyke itself is just down the lane. People moor their boats there. It's a nice spot for a walk.
Wroxham, which is where all the boating activity is, is about six miles. You can get boat trips from there. Norwich is ten miles. That's got everything: the cathedral, the castle, cinemas, shops. The north Norfolk coast, like Cromer, is easy to get to for a day out.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, bedding included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's an enclosed patio for them.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust for Norfolk and the Broads Authority sites are useful.
