Elm Barn View
Elm Barn View is in Freethorpe, Norfolk. It's a semi-detached cottage, joined onto our house. It's for two people.
We took over the place in 2022. It's a converted barn, so it's one open room downstairs with the living area and kitchen. Upstairs is a double bedroom and the bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable, warm and clean, but don't expect luxury finishes.
You've got your own patio area with a table and chairs. There's parking right outside and an electric car charger if you need it.
The village shop is a two minute walk. For a pub, you need to drive. The closest is in Reedham, about three miles away. It's on the river. You can hire boats there or just watch the boats go by.
The beaches are a bit of a drive. Winterton-on-Sea is the closest decent one, about eight miles. It's a big sandy beach and you can sometimes see seals. Cromer is further north, maybe half an hour's drive. They're famous for crabs.
If you like walking or cycling, the lanes around here are flat and quiet. For birdwatching, Breydon Water is very close. Norwich is about twenty minutes by car for shopping or a day out.
Facilities include a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are provided. Sorry, no pets.
