Yare Cottage
Yare Cottage is in Reedham, Norfolk. It's an end of terrace place, on the river. Sleeps six, three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The main bedroom has its own walk-in shower cubicle, which is handy.
The main thing is the view. The front looks south over the River Yare and the marshes. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for kids and dogs. You can sit out there and watch the boats go by, or just look at the sky. It's very flat and open.
Reedham village is right there. There's a shop about 200 yards away, and a pub even closer. Two pubs actually, and a fish and chip shop. The train station is about a mile away if you're coming by rail.
If you like walking or birdwatching, you can start from the front door. It's all riverside paths and broads. Fishing is available locally too.
For a day out, Norwich is about half an hour's drive. Cathedrals, museums, the lot. The other way, Great Yarmouth is also about 30 minutes. That's more traditional seaside. Pettitts Animal Adventure Park is nearby if you've got children.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a washing machine, bike storage, WiFi, and the bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site.
