It's called Riverside Cottage because it's across the lane from the River Chet. You look out over the marshes. It's detached, at the end of a long drive next to our boatyard, so it's quiet.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms. One is a double on the ground floor, which is handy. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not pristine or minimalist. There's a wood burner in the living room. The garden is enclosed and there's a hot tub.
You're a few minutes' walk from the centre of Loddon. There's a shop, a couple of pubs, and a fish and chip shop. The river here is slow. It's mostly swans and ducks now. You can hire a day boat or a proper vintage cruiser from the marina next door if you fancy being on the water. Fishing is possible from the bank.
Beccles is about seven miles away. It's a nice market town on the River Waveney, good for shops and cafes. Norwich is eleven miles. That's your city fix for shopping, the castle, the cathedral, that sort of thing. The coast at Great Yarmouth is sixteen miles, or you can go down to the Suffolk coast at Southwold in about forty minutes.
Included: wifi, bedding and towels, washing machine, parking. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs.
