Riverbank Cottage is a semi-detached cottage on the River Yare in Reedham. It's got a five star rating. It sleeps six.
There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two of those bedrooms have twin beds that can be zipped together to make a king size if you prefer. The main bedroom has an ensuite and some doors you can open for the view, but there's no balcony you can step out onto. The stairs are normal.
It was refurbished a few years ago so it's in good order. The living room has French doors that open to the garden. The garden is enclosed, which is good, and it goes right down to the riverbank. You can fish from there if you want.
The main thing is the boat. You get the use of a six-seater motor boat included. It's moored at the bottom of the garden. It's a proper way to see the Broads. You can potter up to a pub or into Norwich if you're feeling adventurous.
Reedham itself is small. There are two pubs within a few minutes' walk. One does good food. There's also a train station, a chippy, and a little shop. It's quiet.
Norwich is about a 25 minute drive. It's got the cathedral, the castle museum, and all the shops. Great Yarmouth is about half an hour the other way for the beach and the seaside stuff. If you've got kids, Pettitts Animal Adventure Park is just down the road. Bewilderwood is about forty minutes.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and parking for one car. The whole place is on one level except the bedrooms, so it's okay if you have some mobility issues. You can bring up to two dogs.
