The Shank
The Shank is a wooden lodge on a golf course near Belton. It's part of the Fairway Lakes Village. The view from the deck is all trees and fairways.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and in good order.
The hot tub is on the deck. There's a telescope in the living room if you fancy looking at the stars. It's a single-storey lodge, so there are no stairs inside. The entrance and main rooms are designed for wheelchair access.
On the site, you can use the Barnworks Fitness and Spa. That's got an indoor heated pool. You can play golf on the two courses here. The clubhouse does food. There's a Redwings Horse Sanctuary here too, you can visit the horses.
You're on the edge of the Norfolk Broads. For a day out, the coast at Great Yarmouth is about twenty minutes' drive. Norwich is about half an hour. The north Norfolk coast and the Suffolk coast are both within a thirty minute drive for a proper beach day.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. There's no charge for electricity. It's not suitable for pets.
