Mallard Lodge
Mallard Lodge is a detached bungalow in Hopton on Sea. It sleeps two people, but it’s got two bedrooms, so you can spread out a bit. It’s been given a 4 Star rating, which means it’s modern and comfortable.
The place is new build, so it’s all on one level. Good if you don’t fancy stairs. There’s a little patio area out the back with a table and chairs. It gets the sun in the evening. Parking is right outside.
The beach is about a five minute walk down the lane. It’s sandy and quite wide. The village is about 400 yards away. There’s a shop, a couple of pubs, and a few places to eat. You can walk to them.
If you want to go further, Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth are about ten minutes in the car. Pleasurewood Hills theme park is just down the road, maybe five minutes. Norwich is a good day out, about forty minutes’ drive. It’s got the castle, the cathedral, and all the shops.
The Norfolk Broads are a short drive away if you fancy messing about on the water. There are boat hire places at Wroxham.
Inside, it’s got everything you’d need for a week. Washing machine, TV, bedding and towels are included. We can provide a travel cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog.
