Twin Oaks is a detached lodge on the Fairway Lakes part of Caldecott Hall Country Park. It's that Scandinavian style, all wood and glass. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms. The main thing is they all have their own bathroom, which is useful.
It's got a five-star rating, so everything should be in good order. The decking area outside is big and has a hot tub and a covered bit for sitting out. There's another seating area upstairs off the living room, so you can look out over the golf course and the lakes. You see a lot of ducks.
Inside, it's open plan. The dining table seats eight. One of the bedrooms has a Japanese-style bath.
You're on the edge of the Broads National Park. The coast at Lowestoft is about five miles. For a good beach day, Southwold and Aldeburgh are about half an hour's drive.
On the site itself, there's an 18-hole golf course, a bar and restaurant, and the Redwings Horse Sanctuary centre is right there. Barnworks has a spa and a small pool, but you have to pay for those.
Facilities: it's got parking, wifi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. Pets aren't allowed.
