Riverside Cottage
Riverside Cottage is on the River Yare in Reedham. It's the last one in a row, so you have neighbours on one side. The back garden is decked and private. The front looks straight out onto the river. You get both.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One king-size at the front with the river view, one double at the back. One bathroom downstairs. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well finished and everything is new. It's comfortable.
The stairs are a bit steep, like most Norfolk cottages. There's a summerhouse in the garden they call the Gin Palace. It's a good spot.
Reedham village is small. There are two pubs a few minutes' walk away. Both do food. The Humpty Dumpty Brewery is here. There's also a tearoom. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Acle or Brundall.
Being on the Broads, the main thing here is the water. You can watch the boats from the front. You can hire day boats from nearby. For walking, the Weavers' Way path goes through the village. The RSPB has reserves at Berney Marshes and Strumpshaw Fen, both close by.
Norwich is about a 25-minute drive. The coast at Great Yarmouth or the beaches south of Winterton are about half an hour. The Blickling Estate is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes.
For facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage. The garden is enclosed. Sorry, no pets.
