Manager’s Cottage is in Loddon, which is a small market town on the River Chet. It's a detached house. You get the garden to yourselves, it's enclosed.
The cottage sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's older, though. The layout is a bit traditional, so rooms lead into each other. It's not an open-plan modern house.
There's a shop and a couple of pubs about a 10-minute walk away in the town. They're good. The river runs through the town centre. It's quiet now, just a few boats. You can hire canoes or paddleboards locally if you want to get on the water.
Norwich is about 11 miles away if you need a city day. They've got the castle, the cathedral, proper shops and restaurants. Beccles is closer, about 7 miles. It's a nice market town on the River Waveney. You can get boat trips from there.
The coast is a drive. Great Yarmouth is about 16 miles for a traditional seaside day. Southwold, which is different, more of a genteel Victorian seaside town, is about 20 miles away in Suffolk.
Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog. The garden has a BBQ.
