Wilma Cottage

It's an older cottage with beams. It's warm and comfortable. The living room has a woodburning stove. The kitchen is a decent size and you can eat there. The garden has a deck and is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs. We take up to two pets.
The village, Geldeston, is quiet. The local pub is about a ten-minute walk. It serves food. There's a village shop too. You're right by the River Waveney. You can walk along it or hire a day boat from the marina.
Beccles is a few miles away. It's a nice little town with shops and cafes by the river. You can get boat trips from there. For the coast, Southwold is about twenty minutes by car. It's a classic seaside town with a pier and beach huts. Lowestoft is a bit further.
It's a good spot for walking. The Angles Way is close by. For other local days out, you could look at the Norfolk Broads.
Facilities: parking, WiFi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. The woodburner is there and we leave some wood for you. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but you should note the cottage is on two floors and the bathroom is upstairs.
