Derby's Loft
Derby's Loft is in Beccles, right on the River Waveney. It's a first-floor conversion of an old boat shed. I live on the ground floor, so I'm on-site if you need anything.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which just means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard.
The main thing is the view. Big floor-to-ceiling windows look straight out over the private marina. There are Juliet balconies and your own sun terrace. It's quiet, just boats and water.
You're a few minutes' walk from the town centre. Shops, pubs, a couple of nice cafes. Beccles is a proper market town, and it's the heart of the Southern Broads. You can hire day boats from there.
The Beccles Lido is great in summer. It's an outdoor heated pool right next to the river.
For a day out, Norwich is about 40 minutes west. Castle, cathedral, shopping. Southwold and the coast are east, about half an hour's drive for the beach.
In terms of what's here: washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. No pets, sorry.
