Derby's Loft
Derby's Loft is a first floor flat we made from an old boat shed. It's in Beccles, on a private bit of the River Waveney. We live on-site, downstairs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's all been done to a good standard.
The main living area is open plan. It has big floor to ceiling windows that open out onto Juliet balconies. You get views over the marina. There's also a private sun terrace.
It's detached and quiet. You can hear the water. It's about a five minute walk into Beccles town centre. There are shops, pubs and cafes there.
You're right on the edge of the Norfolk Broads. You can hire day boats nearby. There's good walking from the door along the river. The flat's up high, so it's a good spot for watching birds on the water.
In town, Beccles Lido is an outdoor heated pool next to the river. It's nice on a warm day.
If you want to drive out, the coast at Lowestoft is about 25 minutes away for beaches. Norwich is about 40 minutes west for a city day out.
For facilities: there's on-site parking, WiFi, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
