Orchard Farm Cottage
This is Orchard Farm Cottage in Barnby, Suffolk. It's a bungalow, so it's all on one level, which is handy. It sleeps two, one bedroom and one shower room. You'll have a patio and garden to yourselves, and it looks out over the fields. It's quiet.
It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's been well looked after and comfortable. Towels and bedding are included.
The lane outside is good for walks or a bike ride if you've brought them. There’s a well-regarded pub about a mile up the road, the one that's won awards. You'll need to drive to a shop.
For the coast, Lowestoft is about a twenty minute drive. They've got a sandy beach and a pier. Southwold is further, maybe forty minutes, but it's nice. Beccles is the nearest proper town, about ten minutes away. It's on the river, with some decent shops and a few places to eat.
If you want to explore, Sutton Hoo is about half an hour's drive. That's the Anglo-Saxon burial site. Norwich is just over half an hour away, for the cathedral and castle.
You can bring two dogs. There's parking right outside the cottage. It's got a TV, dishwasher, and washing machine.
