Sapphire Cottage. It's about a five minute walk from the beach in Lowestoft. We renovated it in 2020.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a four star rating, so it's comfortable. The stairs are steep.
You've got a wood burner in the living room, a dining area big enough for everyone, and the kitchen's got what you need. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you've got kids or a dog.
We let one dog come. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate for little ones. All the bedding and towels are included. There's off-road parking.
For Lowestoft itself, you've got two piers, the beach, and Pleasurewood Hills theme park is a few minutes' drive. Oulton Broad is about four miles away if you want to get out on the water.
It's a good base. Norwich is under an hour for a city day out. The Broads are on the doorstep. The Suffolk coast path is right there for walking.
