Wisteria House

Wisteria House is in Henstead, which is a small village near Southwold. It's one of a pair of semi-detached houses. We've done it up so it's in good shape. Sleeps six in three bedrooms, with two bathrooms. It's got the 5 Star rating, which means everything should work properly and it's well finished.

Downstairs is mostly an open plan kitchen and dining area. There are French doors that go out to the patio and garden. The living room is separate and has a wood burner. The stairs are normal, not too steep.

The main bedroom is a good size. The family bathroom has a double shower and two sinks. One of the other bedrooms has its own shower room. The third room has twin beds.

The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for kids or a dog, but we don't allow pets. There's parking on the drive.

You're about three miles from the nearest beach. Southwold is about seven miles away, that's the proper seaside town with the pier and the Adnams shop. Aldeburgh is a bit further down the coast, maybe half an hour's drive. There's a place called the Arts and Crafts Centre in the village with a café and some little shops.

For supplies, you've got a shop and two pubs in Wrentham, which is two and a half miles away. Beccles is inland, a market town on the edge of the Norfolk Broads. If you like birdwatching, RSPB Minsmere is about twenty minutes by car.

The place has the things you'd expect: Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot and highchair out if you need them.
