The Little House

The Little House is a bungalow in Kessingland, Suffolk. It's on the row of bungalows just behind the beach. You can see the sea from the front garden.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main bedroom and the bathroom are both on the ground floor, so it's suitable if stairs are a problem. There's a step into the property from the parking area, and another small step inside the front door, but that's it.

The layout is open plan. It's not huge, but it's enough for a small family or two couples. We've put in an air conditioning unit that does heating in winter and cooling in summer. You control it with a remote.

The beach is about 150 yards away. You get to it down some concrete steps. If those aren't suitable, there's another access point a bit further along, opposite the pub. The local pub is 250 yards up the road. They do food. The shop is about three quarters of a mile.

Southwold is about eight miles up the coast. That's where the nice shops and the pier are. Lowestoft is the other way. The Benacre National Nature Reserve is close by for walks. If you fancy a day out, Africa Alive or Pleasurewood Hills are within half an hour's drive. The Broads are about 45 minutes away.

Facilities: it's all on one level, there's parking right outside, a garden, TV, and bedding and towels are included. We can take one well-behaved dog. There's a golf course nearby and you can go fishing locally.
