This is Shrimp Cottage. It's in Kessingland, Suffolk, about five hundred yards from the beach. The beach is sandy with dunes. It's a brick and flint bungalow, so everything's on one level. No stairs. It's detached and sits in our garden, but you've got your own enclosed patio and garden area out the front. It gets the sun in the morning.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding is included. We allow one dog. There's parking right outside.
The local pub is a few minutes' walk away. They do food. The village shop is about half a mile. Lowestoft is four miles up the coast if you need a bigger supermarket or want the amusements.
For days out, Southwold with its pier is about ten miles south. Aldeburgh is a bit further, maybe twenty-five minutes by car. The RSPB centre at Minsmere is close, and so is Dunwich Heath. If you like walking, the Suffolk Coast Path runs through here. For something different, you can drive to the Norfolk Broads in under half an hour.
