Florence Cottage
Florence Cottage is down in Pakefield, which is part of Lowestoft. It's an old fisherman's cottage. We've done it up, but tried to keep its character.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It gets its 4 Star rating because it's recently renovated and pretty comfortable. The stairs are fairly steep, which is normal for these cottages.
You're really close to the beach. It's about a five minute walk. Dogs are allowed on that stretch all year. The beach has sand dunes and is quite wide open.
There's a shop and a restaurant about 250 yards away. A pub is even closer, just 150 yards. They're handy.
Lowestoft itself is the most easterly point in Britain. They call it the sunrise coast. You can drive south to places like Southwold and Aldeburgh, or visit RSPB Minsmere if you like birdwatching. Oulton Broad is nearby too, which is where the Norfolk Broads start. You can hire boats there.
What's here: a wood burner, a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. The garden is enclosed, so it's secure. There's parking on site. You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included.
