This is Ocean Retreat Lodge. It's near Corton in Suffolk, a few hundred yards back from the cliff edge. You can see the sea from the main room.
It's a detached lodge, sleeps four. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. Everything's on one level. The doors open out onto a wooden deck that goes around two sides. There's a garden area too, but it's not huge. The main thing is the view. It's just fields and then the sea.
Inside it's open plan. Big windows. It's clean and modern, a 5 Star place, so it's well looked after. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, that sort of thing. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
The village has a shop, a pub, and a restaurant, all about five minutes' walk. Corton beach is down the cliff path. It's a good beach for walking the dogs.
Lowestoft is a short drive north. It's a proper seaside town with piers, arcades, fish and chips. Oulton Broad is close by too, which is where the Broads start. For a longer day out, Southwold is about half an hour's drive south. The National Trust has a few places nearby, like Dunwich Heath.
