Tillet Cottage
Tillet Cottage is on Camps Heath, just outside Lowestoft. It's a detached place. That's the main thing. You won't be sharing walls with anyone.
It sleeps six, across three bedrooms. Two bathrooms, which helps with a group. There's a downstairs double bedroom off the dining room, which is useful if stairs are a problem for someone.
The cottage has a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable, not luxurious. You'll find beams and old fireplaces, which are nice. The decor is traditional. There's a main living room and then a sort of sun room at the back, which is quiet.
It's in a rural spot but you're not miles from things. The local shop is about a ten minute walk. The nearest pub is two and a half miles. Oulton Broad is walkable if you don't mind a decent stroll. You can hire boats there.
If you fancy the coast, the beach at Lowestoft is about three miles away. It's sandy and has won awards.
For a day out, you've got the southern edge of the Norfolk Broads very close by. There's good walking at Carlton Marsh right on the doorstep. Further afield, within about half an hour, you've got Pleasurewood Hills theme park and the piers in Lowestoft.
What's here: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's an enclosed garden with a patio and a BBQ. Parking for your car. It's pet friendly, up to two dogs. We've also got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
