Beach Retreat is a lodge in Corton, Suffolk. It’s on a low cliff. The sea view is the main thing. You can see right along the coast from inside.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both have kingsize beds. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy. It’s got a 5 Star rating, which is the top one. It’s new and everything works.
The big doors at the front open right up onto a deck. You can sit out there and look at the sea. There’s a path down to the beach from the site. It takes about three minutes to walk.
It’s detached and you get parking for two cars. All the usual things are there: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. The kitchen has a proper hob and oven. You can bring one dog.
Corton itself is quiet. There’s a pub in the village. For a bigger shop or more places to eat, Lowestoft is about ten minutes by car.
If you want to explore, you’re right on the border with Norfolk. The Broads are 15 minutes’ drive. Southwold and Aldeburgh are along the coast, maybe 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Good for walking are National Trust Suffolk Coast and Suffolk Coast & Heaths.
