Kingfisher Lodge is in Hopton on Sea, which is right on the Norfolk and Suffolk border. It's a detached wooden lodge. You get the bit of garden around it to yourself. There's a patio with a table and chairs. It's set back from the main road so it's quiet.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and two bathrooms, both with showers. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The heating is electric and easy to control.
The village has what you need. There's a shop about five minutes' walk away. A couple of pubs and places to eat are about the same distance. The beach is sandy and about a five minute drive, maybe a fifteen or twenty minute walk if you don't mind a stroll.
Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth are both about five miles in opposite directions if you want arcades or a bigger town. Norwich is about forty minutes by car. It's a good day out for shopping or the cathedral.
You're close to the Broads here. You can hire a day boat from places like Wroxham or Potter Heigham, which are maybe half an hour's drive. It's easy to get to.
For walking, the beach runs for miles. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline north of here.
What's here: there's a washing machine, a TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's parking right by the lodge. No pets, sorry.
