Leanda Lodge
Leanda Lodge is a bungalow in Burgh Castle, Norfolk. It's in our garden, so it's quiet but we're around if you need anything. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom, with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well kept.
The place is all on one level. There's parking right outside. You get the patio and garden area to yourselves, with a BBQ. There's a hot tub, which is out the back.
The village shop and pub are about a fifteen minute walk away. The pub does food. Gorleston beach is about four miles, it's a nice sandy beach. Great Yarmouth is a bit further, that's the traditional seaside with the pier and amusements.
You can walk to the Norfolk Broads from here. The Burgh Castle Roman Fort is right there too, on the edge of the marshes. The views from the walls are very good. You can sometimes arrange boat trips on the Broads, we can help with that if you're interested.
If you want a day out, Somerleyton Hall is about a twenty minute drive. Norwich is roughly half an hour away for shopping or the cathedral.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's no gym on site, but there is a local leisure centre. Sorry, no pets.
