Right, Reedham Retreat. It's a ground floor apartment in Reedham, Norfolk. Entirely on one level, so no stairs at all. Sleeps two, one bedroom with its own bathroom.
It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. The main room is open plan, kitchen at one end, seating area at the other. It's a bright, social space.
Outside there's a little paved area with a bistro table and chairs. It gets the sun, which is nice. It's right next to the road though, so there's some village traffic going past to the river. Nothing major, just so you know.
Reedham itself is a small village on the River Yare. There are two pubs that do food, a chippy, and a little deli with a café. The benches by the river are a great spot to sit and watch the boats.
You're right in the middle of the Broads. For boat hire, you’d usually go to Wroxham or Potter Heigham, which are about a 20-25 minute drive. The coast is about 20 minutes east. Winterton dunes are good for a walk, and you can see the seals at Horsey.
Norwich is roughly 20 minutes west by car. They’ve got the castle, cathedral, all the shops. Great Yarmouth is about the same distance east, if you fancy a traditional seaside day. The train station in the village is handy if you don't want to drive. Into Norwich takes about 13 minutes.
Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, WiFi, TV, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
