Elm Barn Lodge
Elm Barn Lodge is over in Freethorpe. It's a semi-detached place, one of two next to our house. It sleeps two people. One bedroom, one bathroom.
It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. There are grab rails fitted in the bathroom for extra safety.
You get your own little enclosed garden area. There's parking right there and an electric vehicle charger you can use.
It's a quiet village. There's a shop about a three minute walk away. Acle is three miles for a bigger supermarket. Reedham is about the same distance, that's got riverside pubs where you can watch the boats.
The beach is about eight miles. Winterton is good for that, you can walk for miles and sometimes see seals. The best birdwatching is probably at the RSPB reserves nearby, like Berney Marshes. The country lanes around here are flat, good for cycling.
Norwich is about half an hour's drive if you want a day out shopping or seeing the cathedral. Cromer is a bit further for fish and chips by the sea.
The Lodge has a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding is included. We allow one well-behaved dog.
