Elm Barn Lodge
Elm Barn Lodge is in Freethorpe, Norfolk. It's a one-bedroom cottage that sleeps two, attached to the side of our house. We live in the main part, so we're around if you need anything, but you've got your own space.
It's a 3 Star place. That means it's comfortable and clean, but not a luxury hotel. We've put in a memory foam topper on the bed and good bedding and towels. There's tea, coffee, milk, and some biscuits for you when you arrive.
The stairs inside are steep and narrow. They're cottage stairs. Just take your time.
You have a private, enclosed garden area with seating. It's a nice spot. There's parking right outside and we have an electric vehicle charger you can use.
There's a shop about 150 yards away. The local pub, The Rampant Horse, is a short walk. They do food. The village is quiet and good for walks or cycling on the lanes.
The coast is about eight miles. Winterton beach is good for seals and long walks. Cromer is further along for crabs and the pier. The city of Norwich is about a half hour drive for shops and the cathedral.
If you like birdwatching, we're close to Breydon Water and a few RSPB reserves. There's fishing nearby too.
Inside, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Bedding is included.
