Chestnut

Chestnut is in Cantley, on the edge of the Norfolk Broads. It's a detached wooden lodge. You're right in the trees here, it's quiet. You can see the paddocks from the window, sometimes with horses. It's for two people.

It's got one bedroom and a shower room. The rating is 4 Star, which is good. It's clean and comfortable. There's a woodburning stove for cooler nights, and a patio area outside.

You can bring one dog. There's parking right next to the lodge. Bedding and towels are included, and there's wifi and a TV.

You can walk or cycle straight from the door into the lanes and tracks. The local pub is a short walk away. For a bigger choice of pubs and restaurants, places like Reedham or Acle are about a ten minute drive. They often have them by the river.

You're well placed for the Broads. RSPB Strumpshaw Fen is less than ten minutes by car if you like birdwatching. Wroxham, where you can hire boats, is about twenty minutes. Norwich is a half hour drive, it's good for a day out shopping or for the castle.

The coast at Great Yarmouth is roughly thirty minutes away if you want the beach and the amusements. For a quieter beach, Winterton or Horsey are a similar drive.

If you need more space, this lodge can be booked with the two next to it for up to six people.
