Evening Glory is a bungalow in Brundall, right on the River Yare. It's a single-storey lodge, so no stairs to worry about. You get the whole place and a garden that leads down to the water. The view from the sitting room is straight out over the river. You can sit out on the deck and watch the boats go by.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has what you need. There's a proper mooring at the bottom of the garden if you've brought a boat, or you can fish from there. Boat hire is available in the village, but you'd need to book that ahead.
Brundall itself is a boaty village. There's a shop, a few takeaways, and a couple of pubs about a three minute walk away. The one we use does decent food. The train station is here too, which is useful.
Norwich is about half an hour's drive for a proper day out. Shops, cinemas, the castle, that sort of thing. If you like nature, the RSPB reserve at Strumpshaw Fen is very close. The coast at Great Yarmouth or the beaches like Winterton are about a 30 minute drive.
Inside, it's all open plan. There's a TV, WiFi, and everything's included like bedding and towels. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right there. They've got a cot and a highchair if you need them.
