It's set up for groups. There's a formal dining room for big meals and a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast table. The garden wraps around the house and is fully enclosed. It has a hot tub.
There's a ground floor bedroom suite with an en-suite shower room and its own kitchenette. That room has French doors out to the garden. It's useful if someone struggles with stairs, though the entrance has a small step.
The village has what you need. Two pubs serve food, one's by the river. There's a shop, a post office, and a train station less than half a mile down the hill. You can get the train into Norwich, or out to Great Yarmouth or Lowestoft.
Norwich is about eight miles. It's good for shopping, the cathedral, and the castle museum. National Trust Norfolk has properties nearby. For the Broads, Wroxham is seven miles away. You can hire day boats there. The Broads Authority website is useful for planning.
The RSPB reserve at Strumpshaw Fen is a mile away for birdwatching. The north Norfolk beaches, like Winterton and Sea Palling, are about a fourteen mile drive.
Facilities: it has everything you'd expect - bedding, towels, washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking. Two well-behaved dogs are allowed. There's a cot and highchair if needed.
