Lodge Farm Barn

Lodge Farm Barn is in Panxworth near South Walsham. It's a barn conversion on one level, so no stairs. That's good if you've got older folks or kids in prams. It says it's wheelchair accessible but you'd need to check the specifics with us.

It sleeps twelve in six bedrooms. There are three bathrooms, which helps with a big group. Everything is arranged around a central courtyard garden, which is fenced in. The main gardens are large and landscaped. Good for kids to run about.

Inside, it's got a wood burner in the lounge. The kitchen is well-equipped with a big table. There's a separate dining room for proper meals. And a conservatory looking out over the garden. There's a games room and a utility room with a washing machine. Outside, there's a hot tub.

The village is quiet. Good for walks and cycling straight from the door. There's a local pub within walking distance. The bigger towns are Acle, about four miles away, and Wroxham, which is five and a half miles. Wroxham is where you hire boats for the Broads. Norwich is eleven miles if you want a city day for shopping or the castle.

The coast is about a twenty minute drive. Beaches like Winterton-on-Sea or Sea Palling are good sandy ones. For days out, there's the RSPB Strumpshaw Fen nearby, or Bewilderwood for kids.

Facilities: All the bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. There's a TV and WiFi. Sorry, no pets.
