Riverview is one of the apartments in the Boathouse, down in Hoveton. It's on the river Bure, right in a working boatyard. You get a good view of the water and the boats coming and going.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both have an en-suite shower room, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The layout is upside down. You go upstairs to the living area and kitchen. Patio doors open onto a glass balcony over the river. It's a good spot to sit with a drink. The decked area downstairs is compact, but it's yours to use.
The main thing is you get the use of a motor launch included, moored right outside. It’s free outside of the main school holidays. That’s the best way to see the Broads. Life jackets are provided. You can bring two dogs, and we have pet life jackets for them too, for a small refundable deposit.
Wroxham is a short walk. There are shops, cafes, and a few places to eat there. It’s the main hub for the Broads.
If you want to go further, the coast at places like Cromer or Sheringham is about half an hour by car. Norwich is less than half an hour in the other direction for a city day out.
For local attractions, the National Trust's Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall are both good options and are within a 30 minute drive.
Facilities are all there: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them.
