Heron's Quay
Heron's Quay is in Hoveton, which is right next to Wroxham on the Norfolk Broads. It’s on a quiet private lane and your garden goes straight down to a quay heading on the river.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There’s two bathrooms. It’s got a 3 Star rating, which means it’s comfortable and clean.
The living room and kitchen look out over the garden and down to the water. It’s a good spot if you like to watch the boats. You can hire day boats locally and moor them at your bit of quay. Fishing is possible from there.
Wroxham High Street is about a five minute walk. There’s shops, a couple of pubs, and places to hire bikes.
Norwich is eight miles away for a city day out. The coast at Sea Palling and Happisburgh is about twelve miles for the beach. The BeWILDerwood adventure park is just over in Horning if you’ve got children.
For walking or cycling, the Broads are right there. The Broads Authority website has maps and information.
Facilities: there’s a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for two cars on the drive. Bedding is included. There’s a BBQ in the garden. Sorry, no pets.
